How we foil your packaging

We press the foil onto the board with a heated die made from your design, so the metal bonds exactly where your artwork says.

Because each design gets its own die, foil works best on bold shapes and clean lines. Very fine hairlines and tiny text can fill in, so we check your artwork against the dieline before you approve the proof.

Where should the foil go?

On the parts a customer looks at first: the logo, the lid, the front panel.

Foil on the lid of a rigid box or the front of a carton makes the first impression. Set it on a matte or soft-touch background and the shine stands out even more - or press it into an embossed design so it can be felt as well as seen.
