Face mask boxes cover two very different products. Sheet masks come in flat foil sachets, so their boxes are shallow, wide cartons that hold a stack of five or ten. Clay, cream and anti-ageing masks come in jars or tubes and use a more conventional carton, sometimes with an insert and a scoop or brush. In both cases the box carries the claims and directions that a sachet or jar has little room for.

Artwork and materialsFace mask boxes carry the claims and directions a sachet or jar has no room for, so we plan those panels alongside the front design. Our packaging guides cover sizing, materials, print, and cost in more depth.
Front, dispenser and inside
On a sheet mask box we mark a tear-open front clearly so it does not cut across the artwork; on a jar box we plan the front and sides, and can print the contents inside the lid.
Explore print and finishesBoard and gift builds
Plain paperboard gives bright colour for sheet mask packs, recycled board gives a softer finish, and rigid board turns an overnight or anti-ageing mask into a gift box with room for an applicator.

Cost factorsEvery project is quoted individually. These are the choices that move the price on almost every order.
- Format
- A flat sheet mask carton and a jar carton are different structures with different dies.
- Pack count
- A box for ten sachets is deeper and uses more board than one for five.
- Dispenser or insert
- A tear-open dispenser front or a jar insert is an extra cut or an extra part.
- Finishes
- Foil, soft-touch and spot UV each add a production step.
Choosing this format
Two kinds of mask, two kinds of box
Sheet masks go in flat, wide cartons; jar and tube masks go in upright cartons like other skincare.
A sheet mask sachet is roughly the size of a postcard and almost flat, so a pack of five or ten needs a shallow, wide box - more like a card wallet than a bottle carton. A clay or anti-ageing mask in a jar needs a cube-like carton, often with an insert that keeps the jar from turning and the lid from loosening.
Brands that sell both often keep one graphic style across the two shapes so the range still looks like a family.

Dispensing sheet masks
A tear-open front or a lift-up lid turns a sheet mask box into a dispenser on a bathroom shelf.
A perforated panel on the front, or a hinged lid, lets the customer pull out one sachet at a time without opening the whole box. This suits ten-packs especially, which are kept and used over weeks. Mark the perforation clearly so it tears where it should and not across the artwork.
Anti-ageing and premium masks
Higher-priced masks often use rigid or lidded boxes, with room for a spatula, brush or leaflet.
Overnight and anti-ageing masks are often sold as a treatment, so the box tends to be more finished: a heavier carton or a rigid box with an insert, with space for an applicator. Keep wording about ageing and skin effects to what the product's own testing supports, and we print it exactly as you approve it.
Box text and sachet text
Where the information goes depends on whether the sachets are sold only in the box or one at a time as well.
If sachets are sold only inside the box, the outer carton often carries most of the information; if they are also sold singly, each sachet usually carries its own full text. Directions, ingredients, net contents and batch codes are the usual items to plan for.
Questions about face mask boxes.
Box style FAQsWe’ll confirm the exact details that apply to your structure and volume.
Read all frequently asked questionsHow do you size a box for a pack of sheet masks?+
We measure the sachet flat, then a stack of the real number of sachets pressed lightly. Sachets are filled with serum, so a stack is taller than the count suggests. Too tight and a seal can burst, too loose and the sachets slide and crease, so we leave only a small gap. Send us a few filled sachets or their measurements and we work out the depth.
Can a jar mask box hold a scoop or brush too?+
Yes. We cut the insert with a place for the jar and a second slot for the spatula, scoop or brush, so each part stays put and the set looks complete when the box opens. Send us the jar's measurements with the lid on and the tool's full length, and we size both cut-outs around them.
What box do you make for a tube face mask?+
Tube masks go in a slim tuck carton, much like a hand cream box. We size it from the cap to the end of the crimped seal, and across the widest point of the crimp, which is wider than the tube body. A close fit keeps the tube from sliding, and the long side panels give good room for directions.
How do you box a variety pack of different sheet masks?+
We use one outer box and make each mask easy to find, with a printed list of what is inside and how many of each, often inside the lid. Customers tend to save a mask for a particular day, so a pack that shows its contents saves them pulling every sachet out. Clear names and colours on your sachets help the list do its job.
Is a sheet mask box recyclable?+
Yes. The board box goes in with paper and card recycling. The sachets are usually a foil and plastic laminate that goes separately, so we keep the box simple to recycle by not gluing sachets to the board or adding a film window. We can also print a short line telling buyers to separate the sachets from the box.
